Every year, in September or October, a Parish Mission is held at St. John’s Parish.
Our Mission, preached by Redemptorist priests, is an opportunity to celebrate your faith and rediscover your love for Jesus as a Parish Family. It also offers you the opportunity to go to Confession and to receive the Sacrament of the Sick.
Look for announcements about St. John’s Parish Mission in August under “Events” and in the Parish Bulletin.
St. John’s has regular food drives to support the Bread of Life Food Pantry in New York City. The Parish also hosts a “Giving Tree” program for Catholic Charities “Adopt-a-Family Program” and a “Baby Shower” program for Pregnancy Help, Inc.
